Humanity produces over 2 billion tons of waste every year, a third of it mismanaged, and landfills are now the third-largest source of U.S. methane emissions. Buried inside that waste sits tens of billions of dollars in recoverable metals, plastics, and materials. Landfill OS exists to bring the sorting facility to the landfill instead of trucking waste to one: an automated, AI-driven mining system that recovers value on-site, extends the life of existing landfills, and keeps future waste from piling up in the first place.
